Six lighted, clay (rubico) and five asphalt courts, as well as arbors, benches and landscaping create a pleasing environment for tennis players and spectators. A two-level pro shop is the focal point of the tennis center. Locker rooms and a wide selection of merchandise are available on the lower level, while the upper level features a viewing deck with tables and umbrellas.

Experienced and highly trained tennis staff professionals offer lessons, clinics, and drills for beginners to tournament level players of all ages. Tennis Director, Federico Rodriguez, has implemented CITA (Coosa International Tennis Academy) in partnership with Darlington School.  “Freddie” is a high energy professional who has represented his native Dominican Republic at the Davis Cup for several years.

Members enjoy this lifetime sport as they increase their playing abilities by participating in the many group, tournament and team activities promoted by our tennis pros. Rome has been ranked by Tennis Magazine as one of the top tennis towns in the country, and Coosa Country Club’s enthusiastic tennis members have certainly contributed to that rating.
